In today’s tough economic times more and more businesses are searching for ways to streamline their business without sacrificing customer service and without raising their prices. It is not unheard of to lose customers because you are forced to increase your prices, and if you lose enough customers you could be forced to close your doors. For the sake of your business and your employees there are certain steps you can take to streamline parts of your business and save money in the long run. There are many services and technologies available to make this process much easier and if you find the right service or technology it will not only pay for itself it will have you seeing results in your very first month.
There are technologies and services that will help you streamline almost every part of your business, but it may be a better idea to start out relatively slow. The first two areas to focus on are the most wasteful when it comes to business funds. The first part is customer service and the second is personnel. While you should never cut the actual personnel in these two departments, there are some steps that you can take to ensure that they are working as quickly and as efficiently as humanly possible.
When it comes to technology that will help you save money in these two areas there is a lot to choose from, however, it is important that the technology is both web and telephone based. This way your customers and employees will have a choice of ways to use your new services. On the customer front you also want to make sure your customers can do things such as check the status of shipments, reach the employees or departments they need in as little time as possible, and have a forum to express both pleasure and complaints with your organization.
When it comes to your employees you need the same technology to keep track of absenteeism, comments and complaints, and other day to day tasks. It is also important that both sectors of this service or technology will give you the most real-time reports as possible so you will be able to rectify any complaints or problems before small issues turn into lost customers.
There are many things that you can do to save money without cutting jobs, especially in these hard economic times. It is important to remember that the economic crisis you are currently living and doing business in will not last forever, and the relationships that you foster both in your customers and your employees will build the foundation for better times. It also important to remember that the same technology that you are implementing now to save your business and the jobs of your employees can be used tomorrow to add to your profits. The way to good business is to not only save money during hard times, but to carry that savings over to the time when business and profits are on the increase.
Accessorizing for Your Small Dog

Small dog clothes are one of today’s hottest fashion trends among pet owners. Female celebrities are definitely the driving force behind this phenomenon with their own signature pets and matching designer outfits being paraded around in the spotlight with matching outfits and carriers. However, the average person might be at a loss as to where to shop when looking for outfits and accessories for the special animal in their life. Not surprisingly, today’s retailers seem to be hot on the pet fashion trail with small dog clothes and fashion accessories being found in nearly every pet store, online specialty stores such as swankpets.com, and even in most department stores that have a pet department.
One of the most important accessories you need for your small dog is a carrier. Pet carriers help keep your pet safe and in a secure environment while on the go. Whether you’re going to the park, or embarking on airline travel with your small dog, you’ll be traveling in style with a carrier from an online retailer like swankpets.com, where carriers range from $59 to $460 for the higher end models.
When choosing your small dog carrier, there are just a few things to keep in mind that are much more important than merely the price of your carrier. The first thing to remember is the size of your pet and the size of the pet carrier you are considering purchasing. The carrier for your small dog should give your pet enough room to move around. At the very least, your small dog should be able to turn around in the carrier. If he can’t turn around, then it may be best to look for a larger pet carrier. You will also want your small dog to have plenty of air, so make sure the pet carrier you choose is well ventilated.
The carrier for your small dog should be padded and comfortable for your pet, especially if your small dog will be spending lots of travel time in the carrier. Offer your pet a pillow and/or toy to play with while in the small dog carrier. Just like children, your pet could become bored, especially on long road trips. There should also be adequate room in your vehicle for your small dog carrier.
Collars for your small dog are another great accessory you should purchase. A lot of great outfits for your small dog can be found online but to really complete the look, the smallest member of your family should have matching collars too. Swankpets.com has a vast assortment of collars, from pink rhinestones to bows and ribbons for your small dog. Though if you want an option different from collars, then try harnesses for your small dog, which are more forgiving to the trachea. Plus they come in many different designs.
Whatever accessories you decide to purchase for your small dog, make sure that they fit the personality of your smallest family member. Your dog will know which outfits make her look the best and will feel just as great as you do when you’ve got the perfect outfit on.

A New Way to Play an Old Game

When it comes to the classic gambling games, there are none that are becoming more popular than bingo. While this game is traditionally seen as entertainment for retirees, the online version is gaining popularity with younger adults as an easy way to pass the time. In recent years, the popularity of online gambling has taken off and many individuals are looking for the online version of traditional games because the general rules are easier to remember and most already have a general concept of the game itself. This is especially true for online bingo.
The game of online bingo is very similar to the more traditional style of the game; there are only a few differences. Most gambling websites will allow you to play one of the many versions that are available. Most will allow you to choose between a male or female caller to keep the essence of the game. Some websites will allow you to mark your own cards and others will mark them automatically. While there are some differences between traditional bingo and online bingo, the game itself really has not changed with the transition.
Since most individuals have grown up playing this game, it is not difficult to think that they would still find it enjoyable to play when they grow older. It may be surprising that online bingo is most popular with individuals in their mid-20s to mid-30s. While this may seem surprising, especially since the general stereotype of an individual playing bingo is a retiree, it really does make more sense than you might think. Bingo is the simplest gambling game that you can play without paying that much attention, which means online bingo can be played almost anywhere. Since younger professionals play on their computer at work, this game is perfect for that type of gambling.
Online bingo offers the same variety of games that traditional gaming halls offer, however some online bingo websites offer versions that are not available in all areas. Depending on the game you decide to play, there are many websites available that exclusively offer online bingo. While there are a lot of choices available, the problem may arise when it comes to choosing the right one. That is where one of the many review websites will be the most valuable. This type of website will allow you to research what real customers are saying and get an idea of all of the bonuses and other incentives that are offered.
While online bingo has risen in popularity in the past few years, its popularity will continue to grow. There are many of websites that offer a unique gaming experience; however, not all websites are right for every individual. It is important to do your research to find the right website for your personality and skill level. If you want to find a unique experience with one of the most classic games, then online bingo may just be the game that is both challenging and familiar.

If you spend a lot of time enjoying the outdoors, then an outdoor electric fireplace can add to the experience. An outdoor electric fireplace might be the piece you are missing.
Keep warm on those chilly fall evenings and enjoy an outdoor electric fireplace for all the seasons. The fireplaces are weatherproof and durable weather you are leaving it outdoors in the elements or are keeping it under a patio cover.
When the outdoor electric fireplaces where first introduced, their function was simply to provide heat with no regard to style. Since then, having an outdoor fireplace has become more popular. As a result, the types of designs, colors and finishes have evolved and have produced from simple to elaborate looks to compliment your style and outdoors.
Outdoor electric fireplaces come in many intricate design and colors. Natural stone-look finishes mimics the outdoors and compliments the natural surroundings. Metallic finishes are also popular with copper painted accents. Some even come with the added benefit of the new CitroBlock system that promises to keep away unwanted bugs and mosquitoes.
One of the best things about outdoor electric fireplaces is that they are easy to install and need only an electrical outlet. If safety is a concern, be reassured that all electric fireplaces meet the “no open flame” restrictions and are safe to use indoors or outdoors. They produce just enough heat to warm up a 400 square foot area and only require a 120 volt electrical outlet. Turn on your fireplace with the flip of a switch or by remote control to set your mood.
Another perk for the environmentally conscious, is that your electric fireplace doesn’t impact the environment negatively. Unlike traditional wood, your outdoor electric fireplace doesn’t emit fumes and carbon dioxide into the air because it utilizes electricity. Entertain your friends and family in style and make outdoor cocktail hours or a nice dinner more enjoyable.
Do you like the idea of camping, but not the sleeping outdoors and no bathroom? Have a family camping experience right in your own backyard and only steps from your home. During the winter months, enjoy your favorite coffee or hot chocolate right in front of your warm outdoor electric fireplace. Or, during summer months, you can turn off the heating function of the fireplace and turn the fake flames on to be able to give a nice glow and ambience.
There is something special about sitting around a warm crackling fire. With your outdoor electric fire you will still feel like you are in front of a real wood burning fire. Whatever you choose, your friends and family will enjoy the functionality and ambiance of your outdoor electric fireplace.
Step on the Scales to Monitor your Weight Loss

Maintaining a healthy weight is one of the most important and effective steps we can take to improve our health and actually increase our lifespan. Research confirms that a number of very serious health problems are affected by our weight in terms of both likelihood of onset and severity. The more extra weight we carry, the worse it gets, so any weight loss will help, even if we don’t get all the way to our target weight.
Dieting and exercise are proven ways to lose weight. These two activities have additional benefits beyond the weight loss as well. A properly constructed diet involves not only lowering calories, but making sure that the calories that are consumed are full of nutrition. A diet rich in fruits, vegetables and grains whether or not constructed to help us lose weight can reduce our chances of contracting serious and often fatal diseases like many types of cancer. Exercise has similar benefits, including an overall strengthening of the cardiovascular system.
The first step in getting to a healthy weight is to buy a scale to monitor your progress. The scale is the feedback mechanism that tells you if the steps you’re taking are working. You don’t need fancy medical scales, any floor scales will do. Start by setting a goal of the healthy target weight for your height. You can find height and weight charts on the internet or you can discuss it with your doctor. You’ll want to talk with your doctor anyway to confirm that the diet and exercise program you select is appropriate.
For most people, unless you are overweight be a very large amount, losing 1-2 pounds per week is a healthy and sustainable goal. Losing more than that can involve draconian dietary restrictions that are unsustainable for the long term. There are some exceptions, but your doctor should be able to provide guidance about your particular situation. Losing weight only to gain it back once you are finish dieting isn’t a healthy practice so any weight loss plan should also involve planning for weight maintenance once your goal is reached.
One of the best and most sustainable practices to help maintain weight is to engage in a program of regular exercise. Exercise burns calories directly. Furthermore, adding muscle helps you burn more calories even when you are not vigorously exercising. That’s why most doctors will recommend a program of resistance training or weight-lifting to add muscle, in addition to aerobic exercise to improve your cardio vascular function and burn calories.
Even after you reach your target weight, it’s important to step on the scales and monitor your weight on a regular basis to make sure that you aren’t drifting back up, or conversely, that your maintenance program contains enough calories to keep you from continuing to lose weight and falling below your healthy target range.

Every business has their tools of the trade. These businesses rely on the dependability of these tools to perform. Point of Sale scales are one of these tools. Their purpose is accuracy and efficiency so that customers can get in and out of their store or business with ease. Most Point of Scale scales are used to measure pounds. These scales link with Point of Sale registers and terminals to determine the correct weight and price for each item being purchased.
There are many different businesses that use Point of Sale scales and some of them include software. You probably see them being used on a daily basis while you are out running your errands. You are sure to see these scales while on your weekly visit to your favorite grocery store. We are all familiar with the hanging scales in the fruits and vegetables section which measures in pounds. However, if you purchase lunch meat and cheese at the deli, a Point of Sale scale is used to measure the weight that they convert into a dollar amount. The same is true as you stop in the fresh meat and seafood section of the grocery store.
You’ll encounter Point of Sale scales at your local mall while on a day of shopping. Many of you have children that have memorized every candy store in that particular mall and drag you reluctantly to its door. All the colors and smells entice the kids and parents alike to select their favorites. Each person picks up a clear bag and begins to use the scoopers provided to fill up their bags and then walk the bags to the cash register to be weighed on their Point of Sale scale.
You will also see a Point of Sale scale being used on your trip to the local post office or shipping center, like Fedex Kinkos. These businesses rely on accuracy to ensure that when they are placing your package on their trucks that the truck can safely handle all the packages for their route. It’s also important for the people who will be handling your package to know the exact weight to determine if they can pick up the package safely. Working in this business can be hard physically, so it’s best to be careful.
The same is true for the airline industry. With many airline carriers either charging you for every piece of luggage you check in our charging you extra for weight overages, it’s important to have a reliable and accurate Point of Sale scale. Due to airline regulations, our luggage weight must meet minimum requirements in order to place the luggage onboard the aircraft.
A few other businesses like, pet food and hardware stores, all use Point of Sale scales.
Today customer loyalty is what makes a company successful. In order to provide excellent customer service, it’s important to have the right tools of the business.

Do you need a new mobile phone? Have you spent a lot of time trying to figure out what on earth most of the marketing malarkey means and you still don’t have a phone? There are better ways than figuring it out yourself when it comes to buying mobile phones. One of the best ways to choose a new mobile phone in the UK is to go online to a website, such as findmethatphone, where you will find it very simple to comparison shop all the major brand names and deals from the top service providers.
At findmethatphone, it is very easy to search by brand name, such as Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Samsung to name but a few. You can also search by service providers such as Virgin Mobile and Vodaphone, among numerous others. There is no vested interest by this website in the products; the only purpose of this site is to provide the consumer with easy to compare information and the best deals available by searching all the top retailers in the UK for you.
If you are intending to transfer the SIM card from your old phone to the new phone you will find some really good bargains on the most popular phones available in the SIM-free mobile phone section. Depending on how much money you want to spend, you will find very cheap SIM-free phones for as low as £49.99 for the Sony Ericsson W205 with Vodaphone. Or, if you would like a phone that is capable of doing everything you can imagine, you could opt to spend £1199.99 for the Motorola Aura SIM-free.
SIM cards are service provider specific, in other words, if you are a Vodaphone subscriber, your phone has a Vodaphone SIM card. If you are shopping for a SIM-free mobile phone, you may not intend to change service providers; maybe you simply want to pick the model of phone you like whether changing providers or not. Let’s view the ramifications of both scenarios:
You buy a SIM-free mobile phone and intend to stay with the same service provider. All you need to do is pull the SIM card from your old phone and slide it into your new phone. All data stored on your old phone transfers to your new phone on the SIM card (think of it like a mini hard drive). The SIM card should activate itself and you will be good to go.
Or, you buy a SIM-free mobile phone and intend to switch to a new service provider. Since SIM cards are provider specific, the SIM card from your old phone will not work in your new phone. Request a SIM card from your new service provider. When you receive the SIM card, slide it in your new phone. It may require you to call a customer service number to activate your new account. Call the number provided, follow the prompts and before you know it, you’ll be chatting up a storm on your new phone.
Some of the best deals available are on SIM-free mobile phones. Shop and compare online, you will be glad you did.

Congratulations on buying your first home! This is a very memorable time for you, and you want to make this process as easy as possible. There are some things you need to remember as you choose your perfect home, such as picking a desired location, having space to grow into and insuring your investment. Here are some hints to help get you on the right path.
When you are picking out your first home to buy, location should be a priority on your list. Whether you plan to stay in this house for five years or fifty, having a home in a desired location will help you when, and if, you decide to sell it. You should try to choose a location that you will want to be in for a while. If you are more of a city person, then choose somewhere that is close to all of the shopping and businesses that you frequent. If you are looking for a quiet home life, then choose somewhere outside the city limits. Be aware that if you choose a home in the city limits, you are likely to have to pay city and county taxes.
If you are planning to start a family while you are in this home, then make sure the home you choose has room for your family to grow! If having a guest room is really important to you, then you should choose a house with more than two bedrooms. If you are planning to delay starting a family, then maybe a two bedroom house is perfect! Depending on your needs and personal wish list, you may want to go with something small or a house with four bedrooms! Homes range greatly in size, and you are likely to find the size you need that is within your budget if you spend enough time looking. This is a long term investment that you should take your time picking out.
Last, but definitely not least, once you choose the home you want and line up everything to buy it, the first thing you should do is take out a homeowner’s insurance policy. This will protect you in the event of a natural disaster, fire or other unforeseen circumstance. This home is likely to at least partially diminish the size of your savings, so an insurance policy can be your ticket to getting another home, should anything happen. Included in this insurance policy should be all of the possessions in your home as well. This should include jewelry, furniture, antique and anything else that you value. The company offering the policy will have their own rules, but it is a good idea to take a picture of anything you are going to itemize on the list. This will not only serve as a reminder to you, but also to the insurance company. Don’t be afraid to research different insurance companies. You can do most of your research online so it should be quick and easy.
Buying your first home can be quite a daunting task, but quite a rewarding one. Just remember to pay attention to location, the size, and insure everything! Always protect your assets, as you never know when something will happen. Have fun picking out your new home! Let’s go realty shopping!
Bathing Your Baby

Most babies come home from the hospital with remnants of the umbilical cord still attached to the belly button, or the umbilicus. Until this falls off give your baby only sponge baths. Clean the navel area twice a day or so with a cotton swab dipped in antiseptic. Do this gently but thoroughly, making sure to get to the base of the cord stump. Watch for yellow matter, a sort of “weeping” that may develop, and for redness. These are signs of possible infection-notify your doctor if they persist. Keeping the top edges of the baby’s diaper folded down below the navel will help to keep the area dry. When the cord falls off, usually within ten days to two weeks after the baby’s birth, it is not unusual for a few drops of blood to be left on the navel. No bandage, binding, or tape is required. If the umbilicus doesn’t dry up in a few days after the cord comes off, an umbilical granuloma may be present. This is a little nubbin of tissue in the umbilicus at the junction of the old cord and the new skin. Your doctor can remedy the situation easily at the baby’s first checkup. If there is much bleeding or a foul odor coming from the cord, consult your doctor earlier for any special instructions needed.
For a sponge bath, you will need a warm, draft free room, a basin of lukewarm water, and two big towels-one to bathe the baby on, and the other to wrap him in after the bath. If your baby cries when totally undressed, give him a bath in stages, removing only part of the clothing at one time. Many babies love the feeling of being totally naked, though and enjoy waving their arms and legs about freely. You don’t really need soap for a newborn, some parents don’t use it for several months. If you can’t bring yourself from skipping it altogether, use very little because soap will dry up your baby’s delicate skin. Ordinary scented soap may trigger an allergic reaction, and it will disguise the wonderful “baby smell” that lets everyone in the house know that an infant is present.
Infants do not need to be bathed every day. The diaper area is of course, cleaned frequently, and two or three full baths a week are sufficient.

Taking photographs used to be a real chore. One had to purchase the film, load the camera, take the pictures, have the film developed, and then order extra sets of prints for family and friends.
The invention of digital photography changed all that. Although digital cameras were expensive in the beginning and only true aficionados could afford them, the price of digital cameras has come down over time and they are now affordable to almost anyone.
Digital photography requires only that you point and shoot, and later upload the pictures to your computer or to another storage medium like a compact disc. You can preview your pictures as you take them so you can delete the ones with the kids pulling silly faces or Aunt Vina with her eyes closed.
Uploading your digital pictures to your computer allows you to organize your photos and sort them into categories or “albums”. You can easily add commentary to them to record the event for posterity. Sharing your photos with friends and family is as easy as attaching the files to an email. Alternatively, you can upload them to a social networking site like Facebook or MySpace and have people look at them there.
For those who still like to look at a “real” photograph, digital photos can be printed on special photo paper on a color printer at home or sent to an online service like Snapfish, where they print out all the photos you send them and mail them to you.
With the ease of taking and distributing digital photos, it can be easy to forget to take some simple precautions to ensure that your photos are safe and can outlast you. Any data (including photographs) stored on a hard drive are vulnerable to being lost if the hard drive fails. The hard drive can fail for many reasons: dropping the computer, a virus, smoke damage, or water. If the data on the hard drive hasn’t been properly backed up, the computer user can lose all of that data. Digital photographs- just like printed ones- can be irreplaceable so it is doubly important to regularly back up those photos on a compact disc or tape drive. Five minutes taken per week can ensure that your digital photos will be enjoyed by your grandchildren many years from now.
Digital photographs can be reminders of special events or show off your new car. They can be attached to email newsletters sent to family and friends. They can also provide a shared experience with those who live far away.
Digital photography has changed since it first came on the market. It is easier than ever to use and those with no computer or camera training can take great pictures right out of the box. With a few cautions and preventative measures, your digital photos will outlast you.
Discovering New Joys from an Old Game

What is the fastest growing online gambling game? You may be surprised to realize that it is not poker, or black jack or even craps, but online bingo. With its simple objectives and the ability to interact more closely with other players, it has become the most popular online game played by women in their early to mid-20s. While traditional bingo halls have been in existence forever, the relatively new online version seems to strike a cord with the younger generation. This new take on an old classic really seems to be reviving the game that most have play most of their lives.
When searching for the perfect online bingo game, it is important to avoid the pitfalls of the less than reputable websites. Since the popularity boost of the game, there has been an explosion of bingo websites available to the consumer. While most are quality websites, and have completely honest games, there are some that are scams. This is where a quality bingo review website can be the most valuable.
The concept behind a bingo review website is relatively simple. Its only purpose is to give the consumer as much information about the different websites available, information about the game and suggestions on which website has the best incentive and freebee’s available. This is a perfect place for a novice to begin their search, while also learning about the different games themselves. This will increase the enjoyment of the game once the right online bingo hall has been chosen.
Playing the actual game of bingo online is very similar to its more traditional counterpart. The main difference other than the forum is online, is that the site will usually mark your numbers for you. There are a few other differences; however, the atmosphere is largely the same. While a more traditional bingo hall will use real balls, the online version employs a number generating software to keep the play as random as possible. The online version has kept the environment alive with the addition of a “caller,” or a person who will call the numbers when they are drawn. This person can be either male or female and most websites will let the player choose the sex of the caller.
In this day and age, it seems that everything that was old is new again, and the gambling world is no different. With the rising popularity of online bingo, it will be interesting to see how many more traditional games will be revived for online enjoyment. The general concept of bingo, whether online or in a more traditional setting, is largely the same. It is important for a novice to employ the services of an online review website to help avoid scams. These websites never charge for their information, and can be a great asset to ensure that every player has the most enjoyable experience possible. It is always important to remember to gamble responsibly; never risking more money than you can afford to lose comfortably. It is time to rediscover the simple joys of bingo online.
Web 2.0

It seems that just about everywhere you look online these days, whether you’re a web designer or an SEO specialist, the buzz in site creation and development is all about “web 2.0.” From existing companies looking to update their image and capabilities online to new firms that insist on being a part of this so-called revolution in website composition and presentation, businesses have adopted this term open-armed. But professionals in web design and search engine optimization alike might not be entirely clear on what this term means –after all, it’s not as if the internet has somehow undergone a physical change, or that sites have moved to a different location or tangible level. In fact, the meaning of web 2.0 has been a fairly contentious topic since its inception, and some experts are still up in arms over whether this purportedly “new” internet is real or simply a bunch of hype surrounding some cosmetic website trends.
Typically, web 2.0 refers to the current crop of major websites that incorporate interactivity into their visual and functional appeals. Sites which are based upon or include elements such as social networking, picture or video sharing, blogs, and wikis tend to fall under the web 2.0 tent, as they allow visitors some degree of interaction with the site itself, as well as other users. Some of the most popular and successful sites on the ‘net today focus on these elements. Major social hubs such as Twitter, Myspace, and Facebook carry the web 2.0 banner for their implementation of technologies and capabilities that let people create and edit their own pages, and provide content both on their own and other people’s pages.
Social media sites, which can provide uploading space and playback capabilities for audio and video, are also enormously popular, and allow for custom content to be created by individual users, while providing space for reviews, comments, and other modifications. Blogs and wikis stand out for their collaborative opportunities; on sites where someone from Austin Texas and someone else from Seoul Korea can work together to create a biography about a man who is neither from Austin Tx nor anywhere in Asia but in South Africa, the essential vision described by web 2.0 enthusiasts has been achieved.
It’s plain to see from a quick jaunt around the web that the use of these elements has become extremely popular. But critics of the importance and newness of this trend point out that many site owners adopt collaborative and interactive features simply in emulation of those sites enjoying major search engine rankings. Additionally, critics note, such “innovations” in site structure haven’t been born recently; major shopping portal Amazon was offering customer reviews and other perks long before the term web 2.0 was ever uttered, and it’s not the sole example. Ultimately, whether you subscribe to the excitement and sheen of web 2.0 or maintain that it’s nothing more than a buzzword, it’s clear that this term is stirring up a lot of discussion among site owners and professionals online.

Golf Swing: Knee Flex

The stance of your knees should be more or less knocked inward toward each other. This provides an additional stability without hampering fluidity. Some people will flex only the right knee inward and leave the other straight. Almost no one flexes the left knee by itself. It seems unnatural and would also force weight distribution to the right side. Flex both knees in the knock kneed style and you get stability and balance.
Angle of the Feet
Last but not least, the position of the feet in the stance. For full shots, I believe the left toe should be at about a 45-degree angle outward from square-pointing generally forward toward the target. No one should keep the left foot square because it will then block out a good turn as you move into the ball.
On the other foot, however, the right foot can be set perpendicular to the line of flight-square to it. This helps prevent a sway when taking the club back. Ben Hogan has always been a proponent of this right-foot position in the stance and may have been the first American pro to develop it. I like that position myself. In fact, just as I’m ready to take the club away I sort of bounce the right foot into that position. This does not mean the right foot can’t be turned back a little, although it shouldn’t be as much as I’ve suggested for the left foot (45 degrees). If you can avoid swaying, this right-foot-open position allows you to take a freer and perhaps fuller turn away on the back swing.

When couples first marry, they often already have a good idea of what their in-laws are going to be like. Some spouses will naturally click with their partner’s parents while others are destined to never see eye-to-eye.
No matter how well you get along with your in-laws, having them come to visit you for an extended period of time can be challenging both for you and your in-laws. Your spouse’s parents are now on “your” turf and their visit is likely to cause an interruption of your family’s day-to-day routine. And, while your house may be able to handle overnight guests for a few days, if your in-laws are planning to stay a week or more, you may begin to feel crowded and miss the simple pleasures in life like getting a snack at 2 am in your underwear.
In-laws can also dread an extended stay with their child and his or her spouse. They are also out of their normal routine and are likely trying to not get in the way. They also are not able to relax like they would in their own home as they try to respect the routines of yours.
Putting your in-laws up in a hotel for the duration of their visit is one solution. It certainly solves your space and privacy issues. But it does nothing to allow the in-laws to relax into a routine of their own. Without cooking or laundry facilities, they are still unable to do the day-to-day things they are used to doing at home
There is a better alternative. Wynne Residential (www.wynneresidential.com) provides fully furnished comfortable extended stay accommodations throughout the United States. All Wynne units come with everything your in-laws need to be able to relax in their own space and enjoy their visit with you. There is a wide variety of unit styles and set ups to choose from depending on your in-laws’ needs and preferences, whether it be a condo with a great view of the skyline or a flat that is easily accessible.
Included with every unit is a fully-stocked kitchen, allowing your in-laws to cook meals and snacks. A washer and a dryer also come with the unit so your in-laws can take care of their laundry any time they wish. All linens and bedding are part of the package as well as a fully-decorated and furnished living room- everything your in-laws need to have a comfortable space of their own.
Wynne makes it easy on you as well by arranging everything behind the scenes. Wynne looks after heat, electricity and all other utilities and combines them into one easy bill so you don’t have to worry about calling all over the city to get everything hooked up and taken down at the end of the stay.
Having your in-laws come for an extended visit can be stressful for all involved, but having them stay in an extended stay unit can lessen the burden and make the visit more fun for everyone.
